We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, results-driven and performance-driven NPI Engineer/ Electrical Engineer to join our growing team! Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and Director of Supply Chain, the NPI Engineer/ Electrical Engineer will be based in the Yokne’am office in Israel and will be responsible for leading the documentation recovery, knowledge-transfer, and production-readiness work required to support the transfer of the Venus systems and associated applicators to a new Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO). This role will be responsible for identifying and closing documentation gaps, organizing tribal and process knowledge into controlled manufacturing documentation, supporting PCBA and test fixture transfer activities, driving engineering build and validation readiness, and ensuring long-term internal ownership of key manufacturing knowledge

Responsibilities:


Lead documentation recovery and technical package readiness for Venus systems, applicators, PCBAs, and related fixtures.

Perform structured documentation gap assessments and maintain gap trackers with owners, priorities, due dates, and escalation needs.

Consolidate BOMs, drawings, specifications, test procedures, build history, manuals, and manufacturing assumptions into a controlled transfer package.

Support PCBA transfer activities, including review of design files, assembly documentation, programming requirements, test methods, and inspection needs.

Translate tribal knowledge and incomplete technical information into clear manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and controlled production records.

Act as the technical bridge between internal teams, incumbent manufacturers, new CMOs, and suppliers during production transfer.

Define and track requirements for assembly fixtures, test fixtures, calibration fixtures, packaging tooling, and manufacturing aids.

Support engineering builds, pilot builds, line qualification, training readiness, and manufacturing process development.

Support validation readiness and execution, including IQ/OQ/PQ planning, protocol inputs, reports, and closure of readiness actions.

Help establish process flows, routing, inspection plans, traceability expectations, and manufacturing controls for transfer execution.

Identify and communicate transfer risks, open items, documentation gaps, and readiness status to project leadership.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Service, CMOs, and suppliers to drive timely execution.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience in NPI, manufacturing transfer, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering, or a similar technical operations role.

Strong experience working with controlled manufacturing documentation, including BOMs, drawings, work instructions, test methods, validation inputs, and revision-controlled records.

Experience working with external manufacturers, CMOs, suppliers, or contract production partners in regulated or quality-driven environments.

Ability to organize incomplete or fragmented technical information into clear, usable, and controlled manufacturing content.

Strong technical writing, documentation discipline, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Ability to read, interpret, and maintain electrical drawings and schematics in support of production transfer and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of PCB design, PCBA manufacturing, board-level documentation, assembly, inspection, and test requirements.

Experience using OrCAD, Altium Designer, or equivalent electrical CAD / EDA tools.

Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment for electronic troubleshooting, verification, functional testing, or engineering build support.

Understanding of manufacturing readiness activities, including fixtures, tooling, process flows, inspection planning, training, and line qualification.

Familiarity with medical device or regulated manufacturing practices, including DHR / DMR concepts, traceability, PFMEA, and IQ/OQ/PQ validation support.

Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Service, CMOs, and suppliers.
